Literature is not all about novels, it's also about stories that brings us closer - make us travel through minds and landscapes. This is why we want to offer an opportunity for writers and readers to meet through the challenge of a short story !
As for our Poetry Contest, their stories will be judged by the public present ! So wether you're a writer wishing to share your art, or a reader wanting to discover new texts, here's your chance !
The theme for this contest is "Autumn" . Contestants will have to write a short story IN ENGLISH (max. 2000 words) for October 10th and send it to us by email ( thebookshopmons@gmail.com ) and - if the text is approved - read it live during the event.
The members of the public will hear each of them and judge them according to their qualities. The best short story will not only earn the respect it is due but will also be printed and sold in The Bookshop Mons.
