Poetry is both an art and a weapon. Our participant's will need to be both to win our first Bookshop Poetry Contest ! Whether you want to experience the artists efforts, judge the best among them or test your own tongue and spirit, this event is for you !
The theme for this contest is : "An English Bookshop". Participants will have to write a short poem (max. 1 page) respecting the given theme. There are no other constraints to the writing, whether on rhytm, rhymes, or content. They will also read it live during the event.
The members of the public will hear each of them and judge them according to their qualities. The best poem will not only earn the respect it is due but will also be printed and sold in The Bookshop Mons.
