Join us for this 1 hour event !
Poetry is both an art and a weapon. Our participant's will need to be both to win our second Bookshop Poetry Contest ! Whether you want to experience the artists efforts, judge the best among them or test your own tongue and spirit, this event is for you !
The theme for this contest is : "Mons". Participants will have to write a short poem (max. 1 page, to send to thebookshopmons@gmail.com before June 10th for validation) respecting the given theme. There are no other constraints to the writing, whether on rhytm, rhymes, or content. They will also read it live during the event.
The members of the public will hear each of them and judge them according to their qualities. The best poem will not only earn the respect it is due but will also be printed and sold in The Bookshop Mons as part of our future "Mons Anthology 2025".
